In early August 2006 I spent three days in Denali National Park located in Interior Alaska. Home to North America's highest peak, Denali (Mount McKinley), the park is a treasure that allows visitors to see nature in all its beauty and wonder.

Day hiking out from my tent site at Wonder Lake, I was able to photograph wildlife and capture some of the beauty of the foliage that was just beginning to turn with the approach of autumn in the north country.
